School iPad quick start
A little help getting started with D97's Aristotle parent portal.
1. Get Aristotle access
Check the primary parent email on file at school. Look for your D97 portal onboarding message. If you need access, contact helpdesk@op97.org.
2. Know what it can do
Depending on D97 settings, parents may see reported screen activity, websites, and after-school internet schedules or restrictions.
3. Know what it cannot show
Not all apps appear in Aristotle. D97 says several native apps are not reported, and some integrations remain pending.
4. Be careful with Screen Time
Before changing school-issued iPad settings, confirm with D97 which options are permitted and won't interrupt schoolwork.
One good family habit
Agree when and where the iPad should be used at home. A short conversation works alongside any technical setting.
